Troubleshooting the At-home Sperm TestUpdated 4 months ago

If you are having connection issues follow these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Are you able to see the Yo2 device in your WiFi connection options?  If so, can you please connect to Yo2 manually?
  2. If you do not see the Yo2 option, please try plugging the YO Testing Cube into a different power source. 
  3. Make sure your device allows the connection to YO in your device settings under "YO Sperm Test WiFi."
  4. If your connection is lost mid-test, please disconnect any other WiFi connections (including physical ethernet cables.)
  5. Make sure all other Apps and Programs are closed on your device.  Only the YO App should be running.
  6. Please try connecting to YO using a different Phone, PC, or MAC device. 

If you are having issues filling the test slide:

  1. Swirl the sample often after adding the pink liquefaction powder.
  2. Make sure the sample is fully liquefied.
  3. If the sample does not liquify in 10 minutes, wait an additional 10 minutes.
  4. Place a drop of sample on the red dot.  Make sure the sample touches the opening of the slide coverslip.
  5. Make sure the slide is loaded "right side up".
  6. Make sure the triangle area of the test slide is filled completely
